The Polish C2P artillery tractor was produced between 1937 and 1939. Its construction was based on a modernized chassis of the TKS light tank. The tractor could reach a speed of 45km/h, and its range was 150km on the road and 100km off-road; it was unarmed. In the Polish army, the C2P was used to tow the Bofors 40mm guns in anti-aircraft batteries assigned to Infantry Divisions and Cavalry Brigades. Germans used many captured C2P tractors as auxiliary vehicles in the Wehrmacht and Luftwaffe land units until the end of World War II.
